A musical ensemble of fruit, vegetables and natural objects made right here in Plymouth.

Green Orchestra is a project to bring Plymouth communities together to explore orchestral music and composition using vegetables, fruit and found materials.

Working with sound artist Neil Rose and food artist Natalia Eerstmann, people from the communities of Barne Barton, North Prospect, Efford, Whitleigh, Devonport and Stonehouse will experiment with carrot whistles, Makey Makey, loud recipes, fortune cookies, film making and working over an experimental week to create a musical score.

The musical score will be performed with Philharmonia Orchestra at Place de Brest in Plymouth city centre on June 6 2015 at 4pm.

The Green Orchestra is a partnership project by Take A Part with Philharmonia Orchestra and iOrchestra.
